Forming a team… is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
1. Recruit, recruit, recruit!
Spread the word to friends, family and co-workers and encourage them to join you! MS Walk teams must consist of 4 or more people but there is no limit to the number of team members one team can include. The more people, the more fun it will be and the more money your team will raise.

3. Make it Fun!
Make a Day of It! Have a tent, have a picnic and make it a fun filled family day for a great cause.
Tips for Team Captains
Recruit! Spread the word to friends, family and co-workers and encourage them to join you! MS Walk teams must consist of at least four people but there is no limit to the number of team members one team can include! Register! Each team member must register online. (Registration for the 2010 MS Walk will open in September 2009) Remember to include your team name on all registration forms! Consider distributing registration forms with your team’s name already filled in to friends and colleagues and encourage them to join your team. Keep an updated roster of all team members located in your Participant Center. Maintain regular contact with e-mails, phone calls and team meetings.
Set a team fundraising goal!
Each participant must raise a minimum of $50 to participate. And $100 to receive a MS Walk T-Shirt. Use that as a starting point at which to set your fundraising goals. Either aim for membership into one of the main Ms Walk team recognition clubs or strive to achieve your own goals.

Have your team photo taken on walk day Don’t forget to capture how much fun you had. Make sure to take a team photo to hang to remind you what a great job you did!
Reunite with your team at the Annual Awards Ceremony! Held in the months following the MS Walk, this is a great opportunity to meet other walkers and celebrate your team’s success!

Team Contribution Division Form helps ensure that your team contributions are accurately distributed amongst your team members for team ranking and prize purposes. Please note; contributions can only be divided up on receipted of team pledges and team contributions form. |
